QUEENSLAND ELECTION

Congratulations to Annastacia Palaszczuk and her Queensland Labor team on their fantastic campaign.

 

While the final result will become known in the coming days, it’s clear that Labor is close to forming Government.

 

Queenslanders have voted for a strong Labor team that is creating jobs, investing in schools and health and improving the lives of Queenslanders, from the regions and the cities to the suburbs.

 

Queenslanders have put their trust in Annastacia Palaszczuk as a strong and courageous leader who refused to horse-trade her values with One Nation.

 

I look forward to continuing to work with Annastacia and her Labor team to ensure Queenslanders get a better deal from Canberra.

 

The Liberals and Nationals are suffering from one end of Australia to the other as a result of the Turnbull Government. From last night’s result, it’s clear that includes Queensland.
