MYEFO DELIVERS NOTHING FOR PRESCHOOLERS

Today’s MYEFO once again delivers nothing for our pre-schoolers.
Under the Liberals there is no funding for preschool after 2019 and MYEFO reiterates this. There is only 12 months left of funding - but this government couldn’t care less.
Whilst the Liberals can’t be bothered to fund our youngest citizens, Labor has solidified our commitment to permanent funding for early education and preschool for three and four year olds in our National Platform, recognising our National Preschool and Kindy Program as fundamental to children’s development.
The difference couldn’t be starker.
Only Labor is committed to providing quality early childhood education to all of our Australian children.
