APPOINTMENTS TO THE SNOWY HYDRO LIMITED BOARD

The Government has appointed two new non‑executive Directors, Ms Karen Moses and Ms Sandra Dodds to the Snowy Hydro Limited Board, for a term of three and a half years from 1 July 2019. The Government has also reappointed Ms Joycelyn Morton and Ms Leeanne Bond for a further two years.

 

These appointments will bring valuable expertise in construction, engineering and the energy market to the Board and provide continuity as the Snowy 2.0 project commences. 

 

Ms Moses brings extensive energy market experience having previously served on the board of the Australian Energy Market Operator, as an executive at Origin Energy, and as a member of the expert panel conducting the Independent Review into the Future Security of the National Electricity Market (Finkel Review).

 

Ms Dodds has strong infrastructure and construction experience, and a deep understanding of the energy generation market. Ms Dodds is currently on the board of Infrastructure Partnerships Australia and was previously Chair of TW Power Services, CEO Urban Infrastructure Broadspectrum and CEO Asia Downer Group.

 

Ms Bond brings significant engineering experience and is currently the Chair of SHL’s Safety, Operation and Environment Risk Committee.

 

Ms Morton has broad experience in governance, risk and capital management and is currently the Chair of SHL’s Audit and Compliance Committee.
