Business confidence and conditions remain subdued under the Morrison Government, according to the NAB Monthly Business Survey for July 2019, with a decline in business conditions across industries.

Business conditions fell 2 points to +2 index points in July, below the long run average of +6 index points.

The monthly fall in business conditions reflects a decline in the employment sub index, with declines in business conditions broad-based, outside of mining, over the past year.

The economy is floundering under the Morrison Liberal Government and they must heed economic warning signs.

NAB Group Chief Economist, Alan Oster commented with concern that “the  decline in business conditions since early 2018 has been broad–based and has continued to track at below average levels in recent months.”

Just last week, data was released which showed the construction industry has faced its steepest decline in six years, under the Morrison Government.

The economy is floundering, wages and living standards are stagnating, and the Liberals have no plan to turn things around.
