MORRISON GOVERNMENT IS FAILING QUEENSLANDERS
CATHERINE KING MP
Today in Question Time in the House of Representatives, the Member for Oxley Milton Dick asked the Prime Minister:

Can the Prime Minister confirm that for every $100 of the Roads of Strategic Importance fund, only 50 cents will be spent in Queensland this year?

Scott Morrison squibbed.

Michael McCormack couldn’t give a straight answer about Queensland projects funded under the Roads of Strategic Importance program.

Desperate to avoid the question, the Deputy Prime Minister referred to the Barton Highway linking Canberra and Yass (which is yet to start), a freight corridor in Western Australia (which is yet to start), and Queensland projects funded by other means!

Scott Morrison’s infrastructure program is a political document, not an economic plan.

It is time the Morrison Government got to work on a real plan for infrastructure to create jobs, improve productivity and bust congestion.
