SCOTT MORRISON NEEDS TO STAND UP TO CLIVE PALMER

Clive Palmer is spending thousands of dollars on vaccine disinformation in Western Australia.
But the Morrison Government’s silence on Mr Palmer’s vaccine disinformation is deafening.
Scott Morrison and Greg Hunt have been great at the vaccine photo-ops, but there has been no follow-up calling out disinformation from the likes of Clive Palmer.
Western Australians know that Scott Morrison and Christian Porter backed Clive Palmer in the High Court. It is time they finally stood up to him.
Over the last week Clive Palmer has placed three front page advertisements in The West Australian questioning the vaccine rollout.
Mr Palmer has also printed full page open letters to Western Australians telling them he is “very concerned by the emergency use of this vaccine on the general population”.
Mr Palmer is not only questioning the science of vaccines, he is questioning the independent expert approvals process and legal protections for medical professionals.
This is dangerous disinformation that is aimed at undermining health experts and places public health at risk.
We know that the Morrison Government were happy to be the beneficiaries of Clive Palmer’s $89 million campaign at the 2019 Federal Election.
It is time for Scott Morrison to finally stand up against Clive Palmer’s dangerous propaganda machine.
