It’s because Malcolm Turnbull is petrified by the hard-right of his party.
He knows the real reason why electricity prices are sky-rocketing is because of his own policy paralysis.
Wholesale power prices have doubled under the Abbott/Turnbull Governments, with prices increasing across some states by 20 per cent in this month alone.
It’s time the Prime Minister stood up to the hard-right, put an end to the baseless politicking that has plagued energy policy under his leadership, and deliver energy policy certainty.
